Course Overview This Bachelor of Arts in Special Education (K-12) prepares future teachers to support students with exceptionalities through one of two specialized tracks. The General Curriculum track focuses on teaching students with high-incidence disabilities within the general education environment, while the Adapted Curriculum track equips educators to instruct students with moderate to severe disabilities using a functional, individualized approach. Both pathways lead to licensure and provide comprehensive training in instructional design, assistive technology, and collaborative teaching strategies.
