Course Overview This course explores the dynamic history of life on Earth through the fossil record, linking the evolution of organisms with our planet's geological past. You will develop specialist expertise in identifying key fossil groups and interpreting major events like mass extinctions and evolutionary radiations. The program is heavily field-based, with trips to locations like Scotland and Spain, and culminates in an independent research project on a palaeontological topic of your choice.
